In a major initiative to transform the socio-educational landscape of tribal and remote areas across Odisha, the state government is set to host the 18th State-Level Recruitment Fair (Nijukti Mela).
During this mega event, appointment letters will be handed over to 2,067 candidates selected through the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).
The recruited personnel include Sevaks, Sevikas, and tribal language teachers. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will grace the event as the Chief Guest on the 1st of next month, presenting the letters to the newly appointed candidates and welcoming them into state government service.
The state government remains optimistic that this strategic recruitment drive will resolve teacher shortages in tribal-dominated schools and enable children in remote regions to receive quality education in their native tongues.
According to administrative sources, around 1,000 candidates will receive their appointment letters in person at the central state-level event in Bhubaneswar, while the remaining candidates will be awarded theirs at their respective district headquarters.
All successful candidates are being informed about the program schedule via SMS and WhatsApp messages sent to their registered mobile numbers.
