Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday informed that at least five western Odisha districts are very likely to witness light rain over the next 24 hours.
According to the regional centre in Bhubaneswar, rainfall is likely to occur in Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh and Bargarh districts, while dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest of the districts.
“Similarly, rainfall is expected to occur in Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara districts on February 20 and 21, while the districts – Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur and Puri will witness rains on February 21 and 22,” the IMD stated.
“There will be no large change in minimum temperature (Night Temperature) during next 4 to 5 days over the districts of Odisha. The Capital City will see a clear sky with Maximum and Minimum temperatures very likely to be around 31°C and 18°C respectively,” the Met Department said.
