The Mohan Majhi Government, adopting a zero-tolerance stance on corruption, has taken action against 90 government officers within five months of assuming power in Odisha.
BJD MLA Pratap Keshari Deb’s question prompted Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, representing Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, to inform the Assembly that the State Vigilance has filed corruption cases against 90 government officers over the past five months.
The Revenue Department saw the highest number of cases, with 20, followed by 18 cases in the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
Law Minister Harichandan stated that the State Government is committed to a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and plans to bolster the State Vigilance.
