Bhubaneswar: 5T & Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian today inspected the Shree Mandira Parikrama Project and reviewed queue management and traffic control around the temple for smooth and safe entry of pilgrims into Puri Srimandir. He reviewed various segments of the project in the early morning from 7 AM to 9 AM.
He conducted a thorough review of the project’s progress, landscaping works, matha restoration, and Queue management system from Shree Parking(JBPC) & Marichikote to Dolabedi.
Some key decisions were taken and directives were given accordingly. He emphasized substantial progress on the Dolabedi restoration, Emar matha, Panjabi Matha, Uttarparswa matha and façade painting around the Parikrama.
He also inspected and reviewed the landscaping done in different patches of South, West and North and directed to complete the buffer zones and other landscaping zones on all sides by next week.
He also stressed the completion of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), garbage chutes, and shifting of sub-station on decided time.
The 5T Chairman urged the timely completion of the electrical works & shifting of utilities near Meghanad Pachiri.
He visited the Jagannath Ballav area, Shree Marga and the development of Pramod Udyan and instructed to expedite all works.
Among others, Puri Collector, SP, OBCC Managing Director and other officials were present.
