In a major step toward supporting the military community, the 198th Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan (RPSA) concluded successfully in Bhubaneswar.
The high-profile Regional Service Pension Adalat took place at Rail Sadan, the prominent Headquarters of the East Coast Railway.
This dedicated event focused entirely on resolving pension-related grievances for our respected Armed Forces veterans. To ensure maximum efficiency, the Indian Army jointly organized the event alongside the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).
Top Military and Defence Officials Lead the Event
A large delegation of senior leaders gathered to oversee the proceedings. Notably, Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of Central Command, graced the occasion. Furthermore, the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) attended to ensure smooth operations.
In addition to these dignitaries, Lieutenant General HS Vandra, General Officer Commanding of the Madhya Bharat Area, was present. A large number of senior officials from both the Indian Army and the CGDA accompanied them. Together, their presence strongly highlighted the defense sector’s collective commitment to the lifelong welfare of veterans.
On-the-Spot Resolutions Deliver Swift Relief
During the active proceedings, officials reviewed a massive volume of complex pension cases. Because teams from the Indian Army and the Defence Accounts department worked in close coordination, they successfully facilitated on-the-spot resolutions for a majority of the veterans.
The primary goals of this extensive grievance drive included:
- Expeditious settlement of long-pending pension cases.
- Simplification of procedures to remove bureaucratic hurdles for aging veterans.
- Improved inter-agency coordination to secure seamless data sharing.
Consequently, these targeted efforts ensured the timely and accurate delivery of well-deserved pensionary benefits.
A Strong Commitment to Our Veterans
As the event wrapped up, the visiting dignitaries reiterated how vital these regional outreach programs are. They emphasized that direct contact helps establish a highly responsive grievance redressal mechanism. Additionally, they praised the collective contributions of all participating organizations, which ultimately made the 198th RPSA an outstanding success.
Finally, the program concluded with an official vote of thanks. The organizers firmly reaffirmed their ongoing commitment to improving systems and safeguarding the welfare of all pensioned Armed Forces personnel.
