The Odisha government appointed 154 officers to the Forest Service, strengthening the state’s environmental and conservation framework.
The Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department issued the notification following recommendations of the Odisha Public Service Commission.
A total of 113 selected candidates joined as Forest Rangers under Group-B. They will serve in the pay scale of Rs 44,900 in Level-10, Cell-01 of the Odisha Revised Pay Matrix 2017, along with dearness and other allowances sanctioned by the government.

Additionally, 41 candidates were appointed as Assistant Conservators of Forests under Group-A (Junior Branch). They will serve in the pay scale of Rs 56,100 in Level-12, Cell-01 of the Odisha Revised Pay Matrix 2017, with applicable allowances.
