Puri: A youth was electrocuted to death while installing CCTV in the control room of Puri Town Police Station on Thursday.
The deceased youth has been identified as Rakesh Behera of Cuttack Raja Bagicha area.
Soon after the mishap, the youth was admitted to the District Sadar Hospital. However, the doctors declared him dead. Later, police have seized the dead body and sent it for postmortem.
On Monday, a youth died of electrocution at Puri bus stand. The deceased Manoj Raut hailed from Olakana in Mahanga of Cuttack district.
Manoj was working as a helper in Kolkata Dolphin Bus. Manoj got electrocuted while loading luggages on the Dolphin bus at the bus stand and fell down.
Other bus staff at the bus stand took Manoj to Puri hospital but he was declared dead by the doctors. In this week two people have died due to electrocution.
