Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations from Visakhapatnam on Saturday, underlining Yoga’s significance in fostering peace and unity during a time of global unrest.
Addressing a large gathering, PM Modi called Yoga a “pause button” that helps humanity “breathe, balance, and become whole again.” He emphasised that Yoga is not just a physical discipline but a philosophy that transitions individuals from “me to we.”
“Unfortunately, the world today is witnessing rising tension, unrest, and instability in many regions. In such a time, Yoga shows us the path to peace,” Modi said.
The event marked another milestone in India’s global promotion of Yoga as a unifying force for health, harmony, and holistic well-being.
