Royal Challengers Bengaluru launched their title defence in WPL 2026 with a commanding eight-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals in the season opener.
Captain Smriti Mandhana lit up the chase with a blistering 96 off 61 balls, striking 13 fours and three sixes, only to be caught in the deep in the 18th over — denied a century by just four runs.
Undeterred, debutant Georgia Voll guided RCB home with an unbeaten 54 off 42 balls, finishing the chase of 167 with 10 balls to spare.
Just FOUR runs short! ☹️
