A 32-year-old woman, identified as Babita Das, died in a road accident outside the Bhubaneswar court on Monday afternoon.
She was travelling on a motorcycle with her husband and young child when an Innova car rammed into their two-wheeler near the court premises.
The impact threw Babita onto the road. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the Innova fled immediately after the crash.
Babita was rushed to Capital Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Police have launched an investigation to trace the vehicle and its driver.
