St Kitts: The second T20I between West Indies and India, scheduled to be held at Warner Park in St Kitts has been delayed by 2 hours.
The Cricket West Indies said on Monday said that the 2nd T20I will get underway from 10 pm IST instead of 8 pm IST due to a delay in the arrival of team luggage into St Kitts from Trinidad, which hosted the first T20I on Friday.
“Due to circumstances beyond CWI’s control, there have been significant delays in crucial team luggage arriving into St Kitts from Trinidad,” CWI said in a statement.
“As a result, today’s match 2nd Goldmedal T20 Cup match is due to start at 12:30 pm (11:30am Jamaica/10pm India). CWI regrets any inconvenience caused to our valued fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders,” it added.
CWI also said the gate will open from 10 am local time for ticket holders. India are leading the 5-match series 1-0.
