A goods train derailed at the Vizianagaram Railway Station yard under the Waltair division of East Coast Railway (ECoR), triggering widespread disruption across several key passenger routes.
The incident, which occurred early Friday, led to the control of nine trains at various enroute stations, including the Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express and the Howrah-SMVT Bangalore Express.
Railway authorities have launched restoration efforts to normalize train movements and ensure passenger safety. The affected trains include:

Officials are working around the clock to clear the tracks and resume services. No casualties have been reported, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the derailment.
