The Vice President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, will visit Odisha on January 23, 2026, to mark Parakram Divas, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

The Vice President is scheduled to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, at 8:50 AM aboard a special Indian Air Force aircraft from New Delhi. From there, he will travel by road to Cuttack, reaching the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Birthplace Museum in Odia Bazaar by 9:35 AM. He will tour the museum and participate in commemorative events celebrating Netaji’s legacy.

During the visit, the Vice President will also inaugurate the newly constructed District Cultural Building located near the museum complex.

After the programmes in Cuttack, he will return to Bhubaneswar for lunch at Lok Bhawan (Raj Bhavan). At around 2:00 PM, he will depart from Bhubaneswar airport for Kolkata.

To ensure seamless arrangements and security, a state-level preparatory meeting was held today at the Conference Hall of Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anu Garg.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary (Home, Mines, Information & Public Relations) Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary (Works) Sanjay Kumar Singh, and other departmental secretaries.

Director General of Police Y.B. Khurania, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner S. Dev Datta Singh, and Cuttack District Collector joined the meeting virtually.
