The teaser of the upcoming Odia feature film Bindusagar has been officially unveiled, offering audiences a glimpse into an emotionally rich cinematic journey. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 10 April 2026, coinciding with the auspicious celebration of Maha Bishuba Sankranti (Odia New Year).
Positioned as a story driven by deep emotions and human connections, Bindusagar marks the entry of leading independent studio Platoon One Films into Odia cinema. The film will be released across India by Prakash Films, ensuring a wide theatrical footprint.
The film stars National Award winner Prakruti Mishra in a pivotal role, alongside Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Satya Ranjan, and Sonalli Sharmisstha. The ensemble cast also includes Robin Das, Kishore Swain, Jagannath Seth, Pranab Prasanna Rath, and Sukant Rath, adding depth to the narrative.
Bindusagar is directed by Abhishek Swain, best known for Jajabara 2.0, and promises a visually immersive and emotionally resonant storytelling experience.
