The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 final results today, March 6, 2026.
A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other central services.
Anuj Agnihotri from Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, secured All India Rank 1. Rajeshwari Suve M achieved Rank 2, while Ekansh Dhull, son of BJP leader Krishna Dhull, secured Rank 3, marking his third consecutive selection in the prestigious exam. The top ranks reflect diverse academic and regional backgrounds, underscoring the national competitiveness of the examination.
The written part of the exam was held in August 2025, followed by interviews between December 2025 and February 2026. The government reported 1,087 vacancies this cycle, including 180 for IAS, 55 for IFS, and 150 for IPS. UPSC also released a reserve list of 258 candidates.
Candidates can access the results in PDF format under the “Final Result” section on the official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. . Marks will be uploaded within 15 days. The Commission also published the cut-off marks and merit list.
Voting trends from previous years show UPSC’s consistency in declaring results within a week of interviews. In 2024, interviews ended on April 17, and results were declared on April 22. Similarly, in 2023, interviews concluded on April 9, and results were announced on April 16.
