Two relatives died in a tragic road accident near Guamal under Bansada police limits in Bhadrak district.
Rakesh Jena, son of Niranjan Jena, and Manas Jena, son of Madhusudan Jena, were travelling on a bike from Chandabali toward Dosinga late Wednesday night. Their journey ended near Guanal Chhak on the Dhamara Port road. Local residents and police rushed them to Chandbali Medical, where doctors declared them dead.
The victims, identified as uncle and nephew from Pradyutnagar under Dosinga Panchayat, left their families devastated. Relatives raised serious allegations, claiming the deaths were not accidental. They pointed to injury marks on the bodies and alleged that the incident was a planned murder.
Police began an investigation to determine whether the case involves homicide or a genuine accident. Authorities confirmed that the post-mortem report will provide clarity. The community remains tense as suspicions grow around the circumstances of the crash.
