Sundergarh: Continuing crackdown on gambling activities, police arrested two gamblers and seized cash from their possession in the Sundergarh district.
The arrested accused persons have been identified as Md. Ajar Khan alias Talvar and his associate Raju Das from Kumbharpada.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a surprise raid and arrested two accused from their house. The cops also seized Rs 1,340, some objectionable documents, and a mobile phone from their possession.
A case has been registered under relevant Sections of the IPC and the accused persons have been forwarded to the court, sources said.
