A minor quarrel turned tragic in Gaudasuguda village under Barakot police station when a youth attacked a man and his son with a knife, leaving one dead and the other critically injured.
Police said Gautam Sahu succumbed to injuries after being stabbed, while his son Tikeswar Sahu sustained serious wounds and is undergoing treatment.
Following swift action, Barakot police arrested two accused—Bijay Naik (19) and Dhauli Naik (52). Both were produced in court, but their bail pleas were rejected, and they have been remanded to judicial custody.
