US President Donald Trump has reportedly excluded Elon Musk from his White House dinner with top tech CEOs, set for Thursday night. Musk, once a close ally of Trump, had a public fallout earlier this year over the Republicans’ “One big, beautiful bill.”
According to the White House, the guest list will include:
-
Bill Gates – Microsoft cofounder
-
Tim Cook – Apple CEO
-
Mark Zuckerberg – Meta CEO
-
Sergey Brin – Google founder
-
Sundar Pichai – Google CEO
-
Satya Nadella – Microsoft CEO
-
Sam Altman & Greg Brockman – OpenAI
-
Safra Catz – Oracle CEO
-
David Limp – Blue Origin
-
Sanjay Mehrotra – Micron
-
Vivek Ranadive – TIBCO Software
-
Shyam Sankar – Palantir executive
-
Alexandr Wang – Scale AI
-
Jared Isaacman – Shift4 Payments
Musk, who played a major role in Trump’s campaign and later headed the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), left the position in May 2025 amid a public spat with Trump.
The dinner, held in the White House Rose Garden, will be followed by a meeting of the new Artificial Intelligence Education task force, chaired by First Lady Melania Trump.
White House spokesman Davis Ingle said: “The Rose Garden Club at the White House is the hottest place to be in Washington, or perhaps the world. The president looks forward to welcoming top business, political, and tech leaders for this dinner and the many dinners to come on the new, beautiful Rose Garden patio.”
