One person was killed, and two others sustained critical injuries in a collision between a truck and a car on National Highway 26 near Landiguda in Koraput district.
The collision involved a truck carrying goods from Chhattisgarh to Andhra Pradesh and a car traveling from Nandapur.
The driver of the car succumbed to his injuries, while two other passengers sustained critical injuries. The injured individuals were promptly rescued and admitted to Koraput Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which has left the local community in shock.
