Trent Boult, the renowned left-arm pacer, has returned to New Zealand’s T20I squad after a gap of 15 months. He is set to participate in his first T20I since November 2022 in the upcoming three-match New Zealand vs Australia T20I series, commencing on February 21 (Wednesday) at Wellington’s Sky Stadium.
Apart from Boult, players like Josh Clarkson and Rachin Ravindra have also been included in the 14-man squad. Boult’s inclusion in the T20 squad for the second and third games is significant as Tim Southee is strategically managing his workload between the Test series against South Africa and Australia.
