Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful message of resolve and retribution in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives on April 22.
Speaking during a public rally in Bihar’s Madhubani district on National Panchayati Raj Day, the Prime Minister made a solemn pledge: India will relentlessly pursue the perpetrators and their supporters until justice is served.
“This is a message to the entire world — from the soil of Bihar. India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism,” said the Prime Minister, switching briefly to English to address the global community directly.
The attack in Pahalgam, one of the worst in recent years, targeted a group of tourists and has drawn widespread condemnation from within India and abroad. In a poignant moment during the event, Prime Minister Modi urged the crowd to observe a minute of silence to honour the victims.
