CM Majhi Announces Rs 10 Lakh Ex Gratia for Kin of Telangana Factory Mishap Odia Victims

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the families of Odia individuals who lost their lives in a tragic industrial accident at a factory in Telangana.


The announcement follows reports of multiple casualties, including workers from Odisha, who were fatally impacted by a sudden mishap at a manufacturing facility in Telangana. Acknowledging the loss and grief of the bereaved families, the Chief Minister expressed his condolences and reaffirmed the state government’s unwavering support for its people, regardless of where they are.

Alongside the financial relief, the Odisha Government has dispatched a team of senior officials to the accident site. Their mandate includes assisting with on-ground rescue efforts, ensuring the well-being of the injured, and coordinating with local authorities to facilitate the swift return of bodies and provide all necessary aid to the affected.

  5. Chaitu Bhatra- Nabarangpur
  6. Ramesh Goud- Nabarangpur
  7. Sidhharth Goud- Mahanandapur, Ganjam
  8. Parashant Mohapatra- Berhampur, Ganjam
