The investigation into the alleged attack on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has gained momentum after a Mumbai court granted 10 days of police custody to three accused, allowing investigators additional time to uncover what authorities describe as a wider criminal conspiracy.
The accused, identified as Rehan alias Sukka, Phool Singh, and Ritik Kurmi alias Roshan, were produced before the court following their arrest in connection with the October 18 shooting incident targeting the actor.
Investigators told the court that the probe has expanded beyond the initial attack and now includes efforts to trace the source of the weapons and examine possible links to organized criminal networks.
According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the accused allegedly destroyed mobile phones that may contain crucial evidence related to planning and execution of the attack. Police sought extended custody to recover weapons, analyze digital evidence, and establish the motive behind the incident.
The case has also seen developments outside Maharashtra. Delhi Police reportedly detained four additional suspects accused of facilitating the transportation and supply of weapons allegedly used in the attack. The widening probe is expected to shed light on the broader network behind the conspiracy.
While the investigation continues, Tiger Shroff has resumed work on his upcoming film Lag Jaa Gale, returning to the sets just days after the incident. His team has also issued a public statement cautioning against the circulation of fake news, fabricated narratives, and AI-generated misinformation related to the case, warning that legal action may be taken against those spreading false content.
The latest developments indicate that law enforcement agencies are focusing not only on the alleged attackers but also on the network that may have supported the operation, making the case one of the most closely watched investigations in recent weeks.
