Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has shared a heartfelt update on the health of his father and legendary star Dharmendra, confirming that the 89-year-old actor has been discharged from a Mumbai hospital and will continue his recovery at home.
In a statement issued on Wednesday morning, Sunny Deol’s team requested the media and fans to avoid speculation and to respect the family’s privacy as Dharmendra recuperates.
“Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time,” the statement read.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of his family, Sunny Deol thanked fans across India and abroad for their love, prayers, and good wishes for his father’s long life and good health.
“We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you,” the actor said in his note.
Sunny Deol, who was spotted visiting Dharmendra at the hospital on Tuesday, has reportedly been by his father’s side throughout his treatment.
