Sundargarh: The Sundargarh district administration and District Mineral Foundation have qualified the semi-finals of the prestigious SKOCH Award 2020 in the ‘Best Practices’ category.
The district bagged the qualification for adopting different novel programmes for the development.
Information on different novel projects undertaken by the Sundargarh administration and District Mineral Foundation and their impact were presented at the 70th SKOCH Conference and virtual exhibition where over 1,000 experts and delegates from across the country participated.
Sundargarh district administration and District Mineral Foundation have been accorded ‘Order of Merit’ as Semi-Finalist by the jury.
Meanwhile, Ganjam district administration also qualified for the semi-finals of the nationally acclaimed prestigious SKOCH Award 2020 for the effective management of coronavirus pandemic through decentralised community involvement.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also congratulated Sundargarh & Ganjam district administrations for the achievement.
