Eminent sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a 25-foot sand art installation using 2,500 earthen lamps (diyas) at Puri Beach to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
The striking installation combines Pattnaik’s signature sand artistry with hundreds of illuminated diyas, creating a large-scale tribute on the Puri coastline.
The sand artwork was created to mark the Prime Minister’s birthday and adds a distinctive visual element to celebrations in Odisha.
Pattnaik, known for creating large sand sculptures on topical occasions, has frequently used Puri Beach as a canvas for his public artworks.
