The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast ongoing rain and thunderstorms across Odisha until April 27, 2025.
Several districts have been placed under a yellow warning, cautioning residents about potential lightning, gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph, and thundershowers.
Despite the persistent stormy weather, maximum temperatures in Odisha are set to gradually increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius after three days. The IMD predicts that thunderstorms and light to moderate rain will affect various parts of the state throughout the upcoming week.
Residents are advised to stay indoors during thunderstorms and follow safety precautions issued by local authorities.
