Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has decided to impart skill training to best selected higher secondary school teachers with the help of a special programme initiated by the country’s premier science and research establishment, the Indian Institute of Science (BSc), Bengaluru.
Heads of all government, non-government and aided higher secondary schools of the State have been directed to sponsor the name of their best and young teachers for enrolment in a training programme under the S&ME Department through Talent Development Centre, Science and Society Programme, IISc.The government aims to enhance the skill and knowledge of the teachers through the training programme.
Principals of all plus II colleges have been asked to send in the names of best teachers of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology having at least 5 years of experience and 10 years to superannuation to Higher Education Directorate by May 29 (Saturday) positively in form of soft copy (excel format) to email sams.dhse @gnuril.com to decide the size and phasing of the training schedule.
