Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has added another remarkable achievement to his career—an entire commercial tower in Dubai has been named after him.
The project, titled Shahrukhz by Danube, was officially launched at an event in Mumbai on Friday. A day later, the actor shared a heartfelt video on social media, reflecting on his journey and the power of believing in one’s dreams.
SRK Reflects on Dreaming Big
In the promotional video he posted on Instagram, Shah Rukh says,
“Kuch badshah mehelon mein paida hote hain. Aur kuch ek simple sawal se: Kya ye mumkin hai?”
(“Some emperors are born in palaces. And some are born from a simple question: Is this possible?”)
The actor speaks about growing up without privilege or industry connections, and how his ambition once seemed impossible to many. Despite the doubts, he explains that he continued to dream boldly and work tirelessly to turn those dreams into reality.
The ad also features glimpses of the world-class amenities inside the newly launched tower, highlighting its luxury design and premium features.
“Deeply Touching,” Says Shah Rukh Khan
Sharing the video, Shah Rukh wrote that having a landmark in Dubai named after him is a profound honour.
He said,
“It is humbling and deeply touching to have a landmark in Dubai carry my name and to be an integral part of the cityscape forever. Dubai has always been a special place for me—a city that celebrates dreams, ambition, and possibility.”
He added that Shahrukhz by Danube symbolizes how far belief and hard work can take someone. SRK also expressed gratitude to Danube Properties, praising the brand for its shared spirit of excellence and aspiration.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the blockbuster films Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki in 2023. He will soon appear in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film King, starring alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
