The Odisha State Medicine Corporation (OSMC) has assured that both machines will be operational by the end of May, but delays have prompted the High Court to step in, monitoring progress closely.
Adding to the situation, the hospital is also preparing to introduce ECG machines for mental health treatment, though their installation is expected to be completed only by August. The delays have raised questions about the efficiency of medical infrastructure planning and execution in the state.
The High Court has scheduled the next hearing on the matter for June 19, ensuring accountability in the rollout of these essential medical devices.
