The Football Association of Odisha (FAO), in collaboration with the Sports & Youth Services Department of the Odisha government, is all set to host the 64th Senior Men Inter District Football Championship for the Sahani Cup 2025.
Kicking off on July 16, this marquee tournament will witness the participation of 33 districts, competing across four zonal venues—Keonjhar, Kendrapara, Boudh, and Berhampur.
The event, deeply embedded in the sporting legacy of Odisha, continues to showcase emerging talent and foster grassroots development. The FAO has urged media platforms to actively cover the championship, celebrating football’s growth and popularity in the state.

Referee Refresher Course 2025 Kicks Off in Cuttack to Boost Odisha Football
The FAO launched the Referee Refresher Course 2025 today at Barabati Stadium, marking a significant step toward elevating football officiating standards in the state.
Running from July 11 to 13, the three-day program brings together 50 referees from across Odisha, preparing them for the upcoming Sahani Cup 2025.
