A major technical glitch disrupted the Revenue Inspector (RI) examination conducted by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), leaving thousands of aspirants stranded outside exam centers across the state.
Candidates arrived well before the scheduled entry time of 7:30 am, but server downtime prevented access to the exam portal. As a result, many were forced to wait outside for over an hour, with entry finally granted around 8:45 am.
The issue affected multiple centers, including Berhampur, Kakatpur, Nayapalli, Mancheswar, Chandrasekharpur, and Patia. Frustrated candidates reported difficulties logging into the portal and navigating the exam process.
Despite reaching on time, aspirants faced significant inconvenience due to the delay. The OSSSC has not yet issued an official statement regarding the cause of the server failure or measures to prevent future disruptions.
The incident has sparked criticism from candidates and educators alike, who demand better technical preparedness for high-stakes examinations.
