New Delhi: Reliance Jio, led by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, has introduced new affordable unlimited recharge plans, known as ‘True Unlimited Upgrade plans’, following a nationwide tariff hike. These plans start at just Rs 51 and include three options.
This move comes after the company raised its tariff plans in early July, with price increases of up to 25 per cent. Reliance Jio stated that it is committed to prioritizing the country and its customers, and will continue to invest in India.
The new ‘True Unlimited Upgrade plans’ include recharge options priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151. All three plans offer unlimited 5G data, without a specific validity period as it depends on the active plan. Additionally, each plan comes with an extra 4G data. The Rs 51 plan includes 3GB of 4G data, the Rs 101 plan includes 6GB, and the Rs 151 plan offers 9 GB.
Customers with different existing plans and validities can also recharge with these addon plans to access the Jio True 5G Plan by paying Rs 51, Rs 101, or Rs 151, depending on their current plan. These new recharge plans are available via various modes including online, offline, and third-party services.
