Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) continued their outstanding form in IPL 2025, securing their fifth consecutive away win by defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by seven wickets.

Virat Kohli, once again proving his mastery, remained unbeaten with 73 runs, while Devdutt Padikkal added 61 runs, forming a crucial 103-run partnership that helped RCB chase down 158 runs with ease.

PBKS struggled to defend their total despite key contributions from their batting lineup. Captain Shreyas Iyer admitted that he would have opted to field first, just like RCB did. The match also saw a strong bowling performance from RCB, restricting PBKS and setting the stage for a smooth run chase.

With this victory, RCB avenged their previous defeat against PBKS and further solidified their position in the tournament.
