As the grand Rath Yatra 2025 commences in the holy city of Puri, national and state leaders have extended their warm wishes to devotees in India and around the world.
President Droupadi Murmu took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her heartfelt greetings, saying:
“On the sacred occasion of Rath Yatra, I extend my greetings to devotees of Lord Jagannath across India and abroad. The divine presence of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra, and Chakraraj Sudarshan on their chariots brings spiritual joy to millions. May this divine festival inspire peace, harmony, and global friendship.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared greetings via X, along with a special video message. He wished happiness and devotion to all citizens partaking in the spiritual celebrations.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi posted:
“Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all on the sacred occasion of Rath Yatra. I pray for the overall progress of our state and the well-being of every citizen.”
Former CM and Opposition Leader Naveen Patnaik also conveyed his best wishes to people on this spiritually significant occasion.
The sacred Rath Yatra continues to unite people from all walks of life, transcending political boundaries, as millions join in devotion and celebration of Mahaprabhu Jagannath.
