Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor-entrepreneur Lin Laishram, have shared joyful news as they celebrate their second wedding anniversary. The couple announced that they are expecting their first child, marking a new and cherished chapter in their lives.

A Look Back at Randeep and Lin’s Love Story
Randeep and Lin first met at Motley, the theatre group founded by Naseeruddin Shah. Their friendship soon blossomed into a relationship, and the couple married in 2023 in Imphal, Manipur, in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony.
Their wedding beautifully honoured Lin’s cultural heritage—Randeep dressed as a Manipuri groom, while Lin, adorned in elegant gold jewellery, stunned as a traditional Manipuri bride. The intimate ceremony was attended by close friends and family.
Reflecting on their decision to marry in Manipur, Randeep had said,
“It felt respectful to marry in the bride’s tradition. I want to experience my life partner’s culture—that’s why I’m here.”

Lin Laishram has appeared in notable films such as Om Shanti Om (2007), Mary Kom (2014), Umrika (2015), and Rangoon (2017).
Randeep Hooda was most recently seen in Jaat, where he played the antagonist opposite Sunny Deol. He will next appear in Matchbox, an American action-adventure comedy directed by Sam Hargrave, featuring a star-studded cast including John Cena, Jessica Biel, Teyonah Parris, Danai Gurira, Sam Richardson, and others. The film is slated for a 2026 release.
