Bhubaneswar: A total of Rs 42,03,07,066 has been collected from Odisha as donations for the construction of Ayodhya Ram Temple during the period from Makar Sankranti to Magha Purnima.
This was informed by the secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nidhi Samarpan Samiti, Odisha at a press conference here on Sunday.
The campaign to raise donations was participated by 58,992 workers along with 553 saints. The office bearers of the Nidhi had visited 43, 749 villages and contacted 74,95,799 families across the state.
The Secretary of Odisha chapter of the Nidhi Professor Gopal Prasad Mohapatra has thanked the people of Odisha for the contribution to build Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
The press conference was attended by Swami Jiban Muktanandpuri, Vice Chairman Harish Chandra Parida and Assistant Secretary Mahesh Sahu.
