Global star Ram Charan’s much-anticipated pan-India film, PEDDI, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana, is creating waves with its intriguing title and the release of two powerful first-look posters.
Presented by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, the film is being produced on an opulent scale under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner by Venkata Satish Kilaru.
Timed perfectly with Sri Rama Navami, the makers unveiled the First Shot, alongside the announcement of the film’s theatrical release date: March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
The First Shot introduces Ram Charan as PEDDI in a breathtaking sequence. Exuding raw charisma, he makes a dramatic entrance with a bat slung over his shoulder and a cigar in hand, stepping onto the cricket ground with undeniable confidence. His rugged look, featuring long hair, a beard, and a nose ring, adds intensity to his character. The electrifying visuals, shot by cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, are further elevated by AR Rahman’s thumping musical score.
Director Buchi Babu Sana, known for his meticulous storytelling, captures the essence of rural India while presenting Ram Charan’s character as both grounded and extraordinary. With a stellar ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma, PEDDI promises to redefine Indian cinema.
