To cater to the increased passenger demand and provide additional travel convenience, Indian Railways extends the services of three weekly special trains, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar–Yesvantpur and Chennai Central–Santragachi Special Trains.
Accordingly, the services of Train No. 01929 Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Khurda Road Weekly Special Train have been extended up to 28th August 2026, while Train No. 01930 Khurda Road–Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Weekly Special Train will continue its services up to 30th August 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 02811 Bhubaneswar–Yesvantpur Weekly Special Train has been extended up to 29th August 2026, and Train No. 02812 Yesvantpur–Bhubaneswar Weekly Special Train has been extended up to 31st August 2026.
Further, Train No. 06077 Chennai Central–Santragachi Weekly Special Train has been extended up to 4th July 2026, while Train No. 06078 Santragachi–Chennai Central Weekly Special Train will continue up to 6th July 2026.
The timings, stoppages and composition of these special trains will remain unchanged.
Passengers are advised to take note of the extended services and plan their journey accordingly.
