Devotees visiting the Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri will face a temporary restriction on darshan of the deities tomorrow.

The temple administration has announced that darshan will be suspended for four hours due to the Banakalagi ritual.

The closure will begin at 6 PM and last until 10 PM, during which time devotees will not be able to have darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra. The temple administration has requested devotees to plan their visits accordingly and resume darshan after the ritual concludes at 10 PM.

Authorities have urged devotees to cooperate and respect the sanctity of the Banakalagi ritual, ensuring a smooth and reverent observance of the traditional ceremony.
