In light of the potential threat posed by Cyclone ‘Arnab’, the Puri Police have stepped up precautionary measures to ensure the safety of tourists and local residents along the coastline.
With predictions of rough seas, high tidal waves, and gusty winds, police personnel have been deployed across key beach locations to carry out continuous round-the-clock patrolling. Prioritising public safety, law enforcement officers are closely monitoring activities along the seafront to prevent any untoward incidents.
The police department has strongly advised tourists and visitors to refrain from bathing in the sea, venturing near high waves, or approaching the water’s edge during this period. Visitors are urged to strictly comply with instructions issued by on-duty personnel stationed at the beaches.
Emphasising that public safety remains their utmost priority, Puri Police reiterated their readiness to handle any situation arising from the impending cyclone. Authorities have requested both tourists and locals to stay alert, exercise caution, and fully cooperate with security personnel.
