Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is expected to participate in the Rath Yatra festival in Puri and participate in various programs in Bhubaneswar during her four-day visit to Odisha from the 6th to the 9th of July.
According to the tentative schedule, after reaching Bhubaneswar on the evening of 6th July, the President will stay at Raj Bhawan for the night. On the morning of 7th July, she will visit Puri to attend Rath Yatra.
On the 8th of July, the President will return to Bhubaneswar early morning and visit the Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves on the outskirts of the state capital. Later, in the evening, President Murmu is slated to attend a program of Brahmakumaris.
On the 9th of July, President Murmu is scheduled to attend a ceremony at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Jatani, Khurda and return to New Delhi.
“Security will be tightened and all arrangements will be made as per the Blue Book for the President’s visit,” stated Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Police Commissioner Sanjeev Panda on Wednesday.
Commissioner Panda also mentioned, “Preparations have begun to ensure foolproof security for the President’s visit.”
