Netflix has unveiled the final trailer for Possible Love, the highly anticipated return of acclaimed South Korean director Lee Chang-dong (Burning).
Starring an ensemble cast featuring Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Cho Yeo-jeong, and Zo In-sung, the film delves into the lives of two married couples from contrasting backgrounds whose paths cross, revealing hidden desires and long-buried secrets.
Recognized with the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, Possible Love has been selected as South Korea’s official submission for Best International Feature Film at the 99th Academy Awards.
The trailer highlights emotional turmoil as Mi-ok (Jeon Do-yeon) navigates the strained dynamic with her laid-off husband Ho-seok (Sul Kyung-gu). Their quiet existence collides with a documentary filmmaker (Cho Yeo-jeong) and her affluent spouse (Zo In-sung).
Marking Lee Chang-dong’s first feature film in eight years, the drama explores class, intimacy, and human vulnerability. Following a limited theatrical run starting October 23, Possible Love will premiere globally on Netflix on November 6.
