PM Modi discussed India’s reform efforts under the philosophy of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’, a policy aiming to reduce government intervention while enhancing governance efficiency.
The meeting reflects ongoing interest from global tech leaders in India’s potential as a market for innovation, space exploration, and technology, especially considering Musk’s ventures in these areas and India’s growing economy and reform initiatives.
Before meeting Musk, PM Modi met Michael Waltz, U.S. National Security Advisor, in a high-level diplomatic engagement between India and the U.S.
The meeting focused on defence, technology, and security, highlighting areas of strategic partnership between the two countries.
Discussions included potential cooperation in AI, semiconductors, and space, reflecting emerging technology sectors with significant bilateral interest.
