Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, briefing her on the successful execution of Operation Sindoor—a meticulously planned tri-service military strike targeting terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 innocent lives, the operation demonstrated India’s military precision and strategic prowess. Prime Minister Modi hailed the forces’ swift execution, emphasising that this strike reinforced India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.

During a high-level cabinet meeting earlier in the day, Modi and his senior ministers assessed the operation’s impact and security implications. The successful mission has strengthened national security and sent a strong geopolitical message regarding India’s commitment to defending its sovereignty.

As the country unites in support of its armed forces, Operation Sindoor stands as a defining moment in India’s counterterrorism efforts.
