Philadelphia witnessed a tragic shooting incident on Lemon Hill Drive in Fairmount Park, leaving two minors dead and at least eight others injured.
The violence erupted around 10:30 p.m. during a large gathering, reportedly following a car meetup, according to police reports.
Amid the chaos, one individual was also hospitalised after being hit by a car. Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting as concerns over gun-related violence continue to escalate across the United States.
The incident comes just a day after another mass shooting in Little River, South Carolina, which injured 11 people. Officials have assured that the South Carolina event was isolated and posed no ongoing threat, but the recent occurrences highlight a troubling pattern of gun violence.
