In the wake of a devastating earthquake in Myanmar, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reaffirmed India’s commitment to standing by its neighbor during this difficult hour.
The Prime Minister spoke with Senior General H.E. Min Aung Hlaing, expressing deep condolences for the loss of lives and pledging India’s support.
India has promptly launched Operation Brahma, an initiative aimed at providing immediate relief to the affected regions. The operation includes disaster relief materials, humanitarian assistance, and deployment of search-and-rescue teams to assist the victims.
In a post on X, he wrote:
