A person was killed and over 20 sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in turned turtle on National Highway 26, near Taragaon Chhak in Nabarangpur.
The identity of the deceased person is yet to be ascertained. All the injured passengers have been rescued and taken to the district headquarters hospital.
As per reports, the mishap occurred bus named SBT was on its way from Raihar to Jeypore. At Taragaon Chhak, the bus driver lost control of its wheels and the vehicle overturned.
Meanwhile, the police reached the scene and initiated a probe into the incident.
