Odisha’s Om Prakash Behera has joined the ranks of the country’s top engineering aspirants, securing a perfect 100 percentile in the JEE Mains 2025 Session 2.

Behera, a resident of Bhubaneswar, claimed the 23rd spot among the 24 toppers who achieved this feat.

A dedicated student with aspirations of securing a seat in one of India’s premier IITs, Behera underwent intensive coaching in Rajasthan’s Kota, a well-known hub for engineering entrance exam preparations. His remarkable performance underscores his commitment and strategic approach to cracking one of India’s most challenging exams.

The JEE Main 2025 was conducted in two sessions—January and April—with over 15 lakh registrations and approximately 14.75 lakh students appearing for the exam. The cut-offs for JEE Advanced eligibility were also announced, setting percentile benchmarks for students aiming to qualify for the next phase.

The achievement marks a pivotal moment for Behera and other high scorers, as the exam serves as a gateway to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, along with eligibility to attempt the prestigious JEE Advanced, which paves the path to IIT admissions.

With aspirations soaring, Behera now prepares for the next stage—JEE Advanced 2025—where he aims to further cement his position among India’s future engineering pioneers.
